which reloading kit should i get?
hi all,
i was thinking about getting into reloading, but i don't really have a starting point. i would just like to start as a hobby so i can get some cheaper ammo. i would start to reload to feed my ar 15 which is .223, and eventually a .308 rifle. also i would reload a couple pistol calibers as well, these would include .38 special and 9mm.
which reloading kit should i get? i was looking into lee single stage presses like the anniversary kit, lee Breech Lock challenger kit, and the lee classic turret press kit. which one of these should i buy. and maybe give me more suggestions on other cheap but good reloading kits.
i do not want to spend a whole lot on a kit right now but i will eventually upgrade if i really get into high volume shooting.

The RCBS Rockchucker Supreme Master Reloading Kit is a good start. I believe it's press is sturdier than the Lees. I don't know of any kit that actually gives you everything you need to get started... such as a powder trickeler or a means of trimming your cases to length among other things... like dies for each caliber you want to reload. IOW after you buy a "kit" you still have to lay out quite a few bucks to truly get going. This is not an inexpensive hobby to get started.
Find someone locally that's a reloader and ask them to help you get started; maybe even take them shopping with you.
